Our Staff

Our staff at Etobicoke Physiotherapy Sports Injury & Wellness has many years of experience helping patients. Here are just some of our staff at Etobicoke and Queensway Physiotherapy Centre:


Alison Glasbey, PT.

Alison graduated from The Bradford Hospitals School of Physiotherapy in England. She worked in the English Hospital System (NHS) for some years before immigrating to Toronto Canada. Alison pursued orthopaedics in the private clinic and hospital system. She has taken many courses to continually upgrade her skills. In 2009 Alison qualified as a Certified Decongestive Therapist. This is a recognised qualification in the treatment of Lymphedema (click here for more). Etobicoke Physiotherapy has been providing this programme since 2009.


Rochenda Howard (Rydeard). B.A. (P.E.); B.Sc.P.T., M.Sc

Ms. Howard received a B.A. in Physical Education from the University of Western Ontario in 1982 and a B.Sc. in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto in 1985.  In 2001 she completed a M.Sc. Research degree in Rehabilitation Therapy (Motor Performance) from Queens University, Canada.

Ms. Howard practiced physiotherapy for several years in Canada and briefly in Australia and New Zealand before moving to Hong Kong in 1993 where she co-founded the first Pilates studio in Hong Kong and established the first Pilates – based Physiotherapy clinic in Asia.  Rochenda worked as a clinician and director - owner of the Hong Kong clinic before returning to her native Toronto in 2011.  Rochenda has been active in continuing education and research over the years and she continues to teach internationally in Pilates - based exercise rehabilitation. 


Natalia Converso, PT.

Natalia is a Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapist of Ontario as well as a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She has been treating orthopaedic and sports injuries for 6 years. She is a Manual Physiotherapist. This means she uses a variety of different hands-on techniques to better assess and treat injuries. She has taken and continues to take post graduate courses that focus on evidence based and well effective assessment and treatment techniques. In her sessions, Natalia includes manual therapy techniques, specific exercises for each injury and acupuncture for the treatment of pain and inflammation. Natalia likes to treat patients of all ages and activity levels. Her goal is to understand your lifestyle and needs so she can better guide you in your treatment and get you well the quickest way she can.


Helena Hudak, RMT.

Helena's goal is to take good care of her client's body so, in return, their body can take care of them. She began her career in the medical field as a reflexologiest. Practicing reflexology for four years, she noticed a positive impact on healing by combining her work with the massage therapy of the RMT she was working with. This realization made her enroll in Kikkawa College where she qualified as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in 2007. She has continued to upgrade her skills / education by attending many courses. Some examples are : Reiki (Level 1 and level 2) Manual Lymphatic Drainage (level 1 and level 2) Deep tissue massage Acupressure. She treats clients with a variety of conditions, including but not limited to; soft tissue injuries (e.g. rotator cuff, ilio-tibial band, sciatica, whiplash, low back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome,) cancer, depression ,anxiety, pregnancy, tension headaches and migraines.
