Our Services


Over 35 years of Service (Established 1982)

Queensway Physiotherapy Centre has been providing services covered under OHIP and WSIB in the Etobicoke/Lakeshore area for over 30 years.

OHIP funded Physiotherapy is covered if you are:

 65 years of age or older, 

19 years of age or younger,
are eligible/receiving funding from the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)
are eligible/receiving funding from Ontario Works (OW),

Or have recently been discharged (as an inpatient) from Hospital and are in need of Physiotherapy services for the condition, illness or injury that you were admitted for. 

All Physiotherapy Coverage requires a valid Doctor's referral and Valid Health Card.

Our Team--Queensway Physiotherapy (OHIP)

Jean T. Queensway Physiotherapy, Registered Physiotherapist

Jean Thomas, Reg. P.T

Jean completed her degree in physiotherapy in India in 2001, and has been a Registered Physiotherapist in Ontario since 2014. For the past 15 years she has worked and gained experience in the UAE, India and Saudi Arabia, treating musculoskeletal, sports injuries, and neuro rehab patients in hospital and clinical settings.  Jean is a dedicated therapist with strong professional values, and believes that a thorough assessment, hands-on treatment, individualized exercise program, functional training and active patient participation will help achieve maximum levels of function. She continually upgrades her skills by attending various manual therapy courses, evidence-based courses and webinars to provide effective and quality service to her clients. 


Alison Glasbey Reg P.T.

 Alison graduated from The Bradford Hospitals School of Physiotherapy in England. She worked in the English Hospital System (NHS) for some years before immigrating to Toronto Canada. Alison pursued orthopaedics in the private clinic and hospital system. She has taken many courses to continually upgrade her skills. In 2009 Alison qualified as a Certified Decongestive Therapist. This is a recognised qualification in the treatment of Lymphedema. Etobicoke Physiotherapy has been providing this programme since 2009.
